Can a short person "talk down" to a taller person?

haha when ever im mad i stand on my tip toes and spread my arms to the side and go "what now! huh what now!" exept im usualy shorter then the person so it dosnt work XD. <3Q

Yes you certainly can, but short people don't get a lot of respect, at times, I don't want to generalize here. Point being, talking down to someone is disrespectful and rude. Do you really want to be seen in that light?

Literally? I would think probably not. Figuratively? I would say yes....it is very possible for a short person to "talk down" to a taller person.

weather your actually speaking of height or you mean age wise then yeah "talking down" to some one is like a figure of speech you dont actually have to be like..looking down at them. The person "talking down" to another is speaking to the other person in a way that gives them the sense of authority..even if they don't deserve it

a shorter person cant physicaly talk down to a taller person but they can verbally talk down to them.
