Can a sidekick lx handle 1gb micro sd?

well i bought my phone from a friend, works perfectly, but she kept the memory card. well my other friend said the phone comes with the SanDisk 128mb micro sd card..well i couldnt find it, so i got the san disk 1gb micro sd card, the gb is bigger right?????? but when i put it into my sidekick, it says the inserted card cannot be read. please ure another card" and sometimes my phone recognizes the card but when i try to take a pic it says " device is low on memory" there is NOTHING on my phone that takes memory.

help?

  1. you need to format it first

    to make sure that there is absolutley nothing

    also some phones save things by default on the phones memory

    see if there is anything about switching to the sd card for saving and reading things


  2. I have 2gb micro sd card on it ....

    it works..

    maybe insert the card on your computer to see if it has files ?

    or if you bought it new return it and tell them that it doesn't work

    because the lx can handle it...
