  1. Yup, take a decongestant like mucinex or sudafed and it should clear up a little bit.  Your antibiotics for the sinus infection will help too.


  2. yes it can take some benedryl and that will dry the fluid up in your ears.

A sinus infection can definitely affect your ears - inflammation can shut off the tube between your ear and your throat, and the infection can also spread from your sinuses into your ears.   To get them to open up, you may need to get something like Mucinex-D.  If your hearing is garbled, then it could just be wax build up that can be removed with a wax removal kit you can get at the pharmacy.  

  4. Yes a sinus infection can definitely affect your ears...you may feel pain, pressure, ringing or a blocked sensation
