Are there any laws permitting a senator or congressman who currently belong to any one party prohibiting them from creating or joining a third party in the our political system?

  1. Look up Joe Lieberman.

  2. Fortunately,  here in America,  we are given a right to choose what we do, what we say, where we work and what Political Party to affiliate with.  As to Mr. Lieberman,  he was very smart to associate himself from a party that was going radically to the 'Far-Left' in his home state.  Being a Patriot is a lot more important than which party you join.  They are really looking for more Liberal Citizens in Cuba and Venezuela.                  God Bless America.....
