  1. If there is a high demand for those 4 products, then you're good to go.

If there isn't a demand, you're in trouble and might need to branch out.

  2. Yeah, why not?

Some companies don't even have that many products when they start up (e.g. Microsoft, Apple, etc) and do OK.

  3. You product would need to have high aesthetic value, its exclusivity may be attractive, but is it sustainable? can your products be easily copied?

If you reduced the price would it expand you market share?

Have you considered the size of your market?

If you selected 100 people at random, how many could afford your products?

how much more could you sell by dropping the cost just 5-10%

    Do some reaserch on this.

Are there other assiciated products you could sell with your primary product. Example.: if you make a candle stick holder can you sell candles with it. your candle stick being your primary product and the candle being the associated product?

    Again some reseach needed here.

    Good Luck.

  4. How many products did Coca Cola start? Yet they succeeded! McDonald's started consisting only of 4 products: hamburgers, cheeseburgers, french fries and drinks.

It doesn't matter even if you only have 4 products to start with. It is the quality of those products and whether those products resonate well with the target audience. It doesn't matter if these are expensive or cheap products -- as long as:

    - it reaches the target audience

    - the target audience likes it

  5. Yes, if you get your image and branding right.  Many large businesses only have 1 product.

  6. what kind of products?

  7. I once started to develop a machine that detected when a politician was lying thinking that everyone in the world would want one.

Then I realized you only had to look to see if their lips were moving.

    Kev.

  8. You only need 1 if it is **** hot. Is at least 1 of them **** hot? Really? Then why have you got time to be asking q's on here.  You should be shipping all your sales. Oh so they are all mediocre. I spose 4 mediocre products is better than 20- less stock to hold.

  9. not if you don't feel those 4 products are the best in the world. everyone starts off small. entrepreneurs and experts give business advice and information http://www.businessempiremag.com/toolkit... you may find that site helpful. you may even submit your products to be shown on their site...wouldn't hurt lol

  10. Yes, but as long as you can develop a good way of marketing...You need strategies to sell them, otherwise you won't be able to survive. It doesn't matter if you have only 4 products, many companies have started with just a couple of products, and they are OK.

  11. You're probably too young to remember the "Pet Rock" and the concept of the "Smiley Face". . . .but they were million dollar sellers.  And if that's not good enough for you. . .Bill Gates had only the COMPUTER to market. . . .AND HE'S A GAZILLIONAIRE !!!!!  (and a college drop-out!)

  12. I would say it is as long as you indicate that they are specialty products and promote them as such. Still, you might want to add two or three related (complementary) inexpensive products as a way to catch people's attention if none of your primary products do this sufficiently. It never hurts to have a few extra products, as long as they are very cheap for you to have in stock (aren't a drag on your bottom line and inventory cost).

  13. Of course,  as long as you have a good business plan.
