I moved to Orlando, FL in order to attain an associate's degree in a Surgical Technology program. It is a 22 month program including 20 months of in school education & 2 months of intern at a hospital. I completed all 20 months with As & Bs. But when my internshape time came around, my program coordinator could not find me a hospital. Due to their school policy, they said if a student is not active for 3 months, they have to be terminated. I I have been trying to get back into the school, but because they continue to switch faculty, they keep forgetting about my case & I have to start from the beggining. I can't talk to the school CEO. I was told by the student loan companies that they can't help because that is a situation between me & the school & that lawyer cant knock the tuition out of my credit. I can't transfer the credits so I would have to start over. Is there any other legal action I could take? Either I want to finish or someway don't hav to pay for the tuition. Please help!

  1. I am sorry about your situation.  All I can tell you is when you take the program again, take a more active role in finding an internship for yourself so you won't have to do it a third time.  Consider it an effective training in job hunting skills to be used when you graduate.  No one will do that for you either... even if they advertise it.
