  1. No.

  2. The officer didn't do anything wrong by what you described.  Anyone who can drive is considered an adult in traffic court...  if you are under 18 your parents do not have to be notified by the police.  You will not get out of the ticket.

  3. Nope. However your speed ticket can be dropped if you take it to court and the officer does not show up.

  4. No- those are two separate issues and he does not have to notify your parents of a traffic citation. Only if you are arrested or detained for questioning then your parents would have to be notified, but not for a minor traffic offense- besides your parents are going to find out about the ticket from the insurance agent anyway when their premiums go up.

  5. I wonder ... do you know the "correct roadside procedure?"  The officer can issue you a ticket without notifying your parents.

The ticket is valid, unless you can find a way to dispute the offense (proof you weren't going that fast, etc) pay the court!

  6. If you did what he said you did then no.

It does not matter whether or not he called your mom and dad.

You just need to man or woman up to mom and dad and pay the piper.

  7. The officer doesnt have to call your parents unless it involves a serious accident, public drunkiness, underage drinking etc

I wouldnt try and get a speeding ticket dropped, its just not worth it
