I suppose he could--the jerk. Off the top of my head,I'd say the IRS would not like it, it would be like swimming against the tide. You would have to plant the seeds of doubt, which I think is a pregnant idea.

if you are donating money yes, but not some funky sperm.

Up to 500 with receipts you don't have to worry about explaining it. After that you will have to show receipts and have the opportunity for an embarrassing explanation to an auditor
