  1. No, they cannot!  We went through this in the Civil War, never again!  Please!  Once a state has petitioned to be admitted to become a state & they are admitted, they are in it until we no longer are a country!


  2. A state can separate. The state would need to declare secession and then they would be viewed upon as rebels and then the Government would attack the state.

  3. No, even though it is a right written in the Constitution, but Lincoln made it clear, we don't always get the right's we're promised.

  4. An option to Suceed remains in the Texas Constitution to this day.

  5. The South tried to...but failed to stay away long.  I guess one could...and if one did, I think that Texas should be the first...since it gave us such an 8 year headache.
