  1. A school can not legally give you more financial aid than the cost of attendance to go to their school.  This is a federal law and applies to every student receiving federal fin aid.

    (Note: Your cost of attendance is more than just the cost of fees, tuition and books.)  You can usually get the cost of attendance somewhere on the schools website.  What probably happened is your are getting enough GI benefits to cover your entire cost of attendance so you can't get more money.  Be happy your school is paid for and thank you for serving our country.
