My son is flying down to Texas on July 5th. He's only 11 years old. Every year he went, I took him there, checked him in, etc. A legal parent has to do this. Can his step-dad bring him and do all this? I work as a mail carrier and it is just after a holiday and I can't get off work to take him.

  1. Yes You can...But you will need a Letter from the Other parent...and its helpful to show the marriage certificate and childs birth certificate to proove just in case they ask..You dont say what airline you are flying but this is the procedure on most..

    Good luck

  2. Yes. It just has to be approved by both parents and pre-approved at the airport as to who the drop off and pick up person's are to be.

  3. i think so. i mean, ive seen uncles do it.
