  1. You cannot file for unemployment based on school wages:however if you have enough base period wages paid by other employees you can draw them. The school will not be charged.Also if you do not work in a period prior to filing your claim you may still be entitled to benefits based on all of your wages.You need to discuss this with your local unemployment office officials. And I have received the wrong information from some of them. I think they will only deny your claim and you can appeal it.
