Can a sudden change in diet make me sick?

I've always been conscious of my food choices. A low fat, low sugar diet has been a custom I've mine for sometime. I always visit the gym at least 4 days a week. Well, I'm not sure what triggered it, but I took a turn for the worst. I eat fast food almost daily, I haven't been to the gym for almost 2 weeks, I drink soda regularly. I feel horrible now. I'm always dizzy and light headed. I fatigue quickly and right now as I'm typing, I feel really feverish after a day at the fair eating greased up foods. Can an instant change in a diet really affect me this bad? I'm leaning towards yes but I wanted others' opinions. I plan on getting back on track tomorrow.

  1. yes any drastic change in your habbits or way of life has an influence on your body...  


  2. of course!  you may even have a sensitive stomach...you went from being really healthy and active to doing the complete opposite..your body is changing and not for the best...

  3. Your body hates you right now. Sudden changes for the good don't make you sick, but start eating "poison" and you're asking for it. Why are you going off it so bad ? You can eat bad in moderation, not everyday for 2 weeks!

Yes, a sudden change of diet will leave you body wondering what the h**l just happened.  You were a model of health until 2 weeks ago and then embarked on a mission of self destruct eating foods that in large enough quantities are toxic to the Human body.  Even a shot of Espresso if injected into an artery would kill you in seconds.  

    That toxic effects of this c**p food diet are taking a toll on your body and the feelings your now experiencing are the warning signs that your body is suffering damage.  Good to hear that your back on the wagon tomorrow.  

    May I suggest plenty of water to flush your system out.  24hrs after that you'll be feeling normal again.
