  1. if you take a shower, dead skin is falling/washing off, skin cells are dying and falling off constantly...

  2. Well when I get a tan and take a shower I actually look more baked when I come out. I'm not sure why, maybe because I'm clean and fresh. But people with darker skin hold on too the sun more than some body with lighter skin. I have medium bronzed skin and I keep my tan for months. And one of my oldest friends - she's a lot lighter than me - her tan fades very fast. We went on vacation together and she got more sun than me and she's already back to her skin tone and I'm still baked.

  3. No your right that would be insane. A tan can't be washed of by anything. It will fade some naturally overtime however.

  4. Well if they are using spray tanners and lotion tanners, then yes they wash off in the shower. But not a sun tan.

  5. your tan can't "wash off" unless it's a fake spray tan. sometimes the sun messes with your eyes i think.

  6. It can fade because I was really tan at the beginning of the summer, but it faded a lot.

  7. Yes. Tans do not actually fade what happens is the the darker skin dies away and is washed off.

Think of your skin as grass growing... you constantly mow the top layer and the bottom layer rises.

But I don't think it will happen in one day.

  8. Spray/fake tans can get washed off.

Real tans don't wash off. They fade.
