  1. No one person can make a decision about any student's education or school they attend.  If the monitor is really concerned about her she can speak with a teacher or an administrator expressing her concerns, but it would take much more to get her moved into a special school (which very seldon happens anymore anyway, most students stay in the regular classroom and receive additional help).  If there is really a problem an entire staff of specialists would meet with the parents and the student if they are old enough to express themselves.  The entire team makes the decisions based on what each specialist suggests following their evaluation of the student.

  2. I dont think so; he might make a recommendation.

&& i would report this campus monitor to someone of higher authority since he seemed to be rather rude to your friend.

    Talk to your parents.

  3. A campus monitor can't select a school for a student.  A teacher can recommend, but on their own can't select a school.  Administrators and parents would also be involved in such a change.

  4. No the campus monitor can't do that, at least not without her parent's permission.  To be honest, if your friend is making it in the school you are in, your school isn't going to pay to send her to a special school for the deaf (they are EXPENSIVE).  Besides, a deaf school is an extremely restrictive setting, and it doesn't sound like she needs that.  That person is just jerking her around.
