Can a teacher tell when you have a crush on him?

Question

I've had a crush on my awesome history teacher for ages. I don't want him to know, nor would I ever tell him. I also wouldn't EVER take actions upon this crush because, well, it's creepy... the teacher is 40, married and with kids lol. I'm just curious as to if he is aware of it. It's just an innocent crush.

Yeah, sometimes. But don't worry about it. I think they are used to it. And only a real creep would actually take up with his students.

I think crushes have more to do with the person who is crushing than with the "adored one." I had a wild crush on an author, once. It lasted for six months or so. It was a lot of fun, because I knew I'd never meet him -- and even if I met him, I'd never hook up with him (I'm married, and he was so fabulous as well as being married).

Enjoy the ride, but DON'T take any action to make it more real. It'll probably kill your crush real fast, as well as making things really ridiculous.

You may find this hard to believe, but most adults do not think about children in that way.  We don't spend our time wondering, "Omigodohmigodomigod!  Do you like, totally think he like, likes me or something?  I mean like, likes me, likes me???"

We don't think about you when you're not around.  We think about our own lives and our own crushes (on other adults) and our spouses, children and friends.

Teachers can tell when students have chrushes on them. I had a student who had a crush on me his name was Scott. I told him that he was scrawny

He can probably assume you do by how you act around him. Be careful things have a way of manifesting.
