  1. SHORT ANSWER- NO!!!

  2. A teen can't be forced to play a sport anyway. Just don't show up.

  3. Should this be true, I think that 16 year old and his/her parents really need some counseling sessions.  No, no one can be legally forced to play a sport.

  4. I don't think so

  5. It depends. How big and how strong is the teen compared to his/her parents?

  6. No they can't force you to play sports...beside if you're not a sports type person..you parents should accept that. since you're not 18 and your parents still have rights over you...well if you're forced to do it anyway..just don't show up....

  7. Sort of.  You still aren't a legal adult, and legally your parents can make decisions on your behalf.  They can sign you up for the team.  They can drive you to the practices and the games.  But what they cant do is make the coach play you, if all you do is put on your uniform and just stand there in the field, refusing to move.  I suspect if you do that once or twice, being forced to play a sport will come to a fast (albeit unpleasant) end.  Expect them to be angry.

    And just FYI, its "legally".

  8. No and they should not do that to you.  Don't they realize you will only despise them for making you do something you don't want to.  Kids do have rights yes I know but you are still a kid.  Don't do anything you don't want to do.  Of course unless it's your homework or something like that
