Can a three year industrial electrician apprentice work on their own?

  1. yes they can but they would have to own their own business and it would hard to get customers due to the lack of experience

Heck yeah....I have been doing my own work for years now, (with 6 months experience) I do residental and commercial, advertise myself and go on jobs, just let them know your experience, theres ALOT of cheap people out there who love people running solo but know what they are doing. Then i got so much work, I had to hire guys to work for me! You cant charge as much as the licensed guys, and do certain jobs, but just do what you know, not everyone cares that you are licensed, just honest! Oh yeah, now were going to get all the people saying, no, you have to be licensed, only use them....bah....we are cheaper and still know what we are doing.... make your money!
