Can a tow hitch be put on a 2006 mustang GT?

I am moveing to New York from Texas. I plan to rent a u haul trailer can I tow it by attachinf a hitch?

there is someone that lives not to far from me and there mustang has a hitch on it.

Yes, your u-haul dealer can help you with the hitch, but remember a small trailer, the mustang is only rated to 1000lb towing.  If you have the automatic trans have a trans cooler installed. It will save you buying a new transmission.
