  1. Most likely not. You have to look up the Gross Vehicle Weight Rating in the manual for that vehicle and make sure the passenger and uhaul weight does not exceed that weight limit.

The motor and transmission would probably have to be babied so they don't overheat.

  2. In all honesty, you have too be kidding, that vehicle will be all over the road.

  3. Recent Toyota Camry specs:

    2.4-liter DOHC 16-valve VVT-i 4-cylinder 158 hp [1] @ 6000 rpm/161 lb.-ft. [1] @ 4000 rpm

I pulled a 12' trailer with a 4-cyl Toyota mini-pickup on local roads for several years.  Engine was 2.4L 4 cyl. w/ EFI and a 5-spd manual.  Similar engine, but the Camry probably has waaaaay more horsepower and the truck was geared for light hauling.  The truck could easily pull the trailer at highway speeds too, but merging into highway traffic sometimes was problemmatic.

The main issue is your transmission.  Look in your owner's manual or call your dealer to find out whether there are weight limitations.

I wouldn't really trust the U-Haul site.  They want to rent you a trailer and are likely to be more optimistic about what your car can handle.

Finally, if it's a hybrid Camry I wouldn't use it for towing at all.

You know, it's not that expensive to rent a little U-Haul truck for the day.

  4. No it is to much weight. You can always check the owner's manual for the tow capacity.

  5. if its smaller than the car or say the size of a lawnmower maybe a small boat you can get one but maybe like six by six feet or less most cars are about to small for any uhaul trailers

  6. Go to the U-Haul web site and run the program there to find out what kind of trailer your car can haul.
