  1. Sure, just make sure you have your passport or you can't get back into the U.S.

  2. Yes only if you have a pasport actualy it is cheaper that way

  3. Most likely be cheaper to get an open return ticket

  4. YES!! It's done all the time. It's actually cheaper to do it that way.

  5. Yes you can

  6. i cant even get a one way ticket to the us from canada and i have dual citizenship i don't think you can do it to Jamaica even if you get a ticket that is flexible when you return

  7. yes

  8. Yes you can! Just be sure to have your passport!

  9. yeah but you have to get a passport inorder to leave us territory other wise you ahve to pay big money

  10. Yes, of course you can.

  11. Yes you can hun.

    Congratulations on the engagement lol.

But you can go to www.expedia.com

  12. ya u can but why buy a one way tickt

  13. sure, y not?

  14. yes you can but they only give u three months in the country so  buy the ticket before three months pass.

it may howvever pose a problem with the jamaican immigration... because you have to show proof of returning to your country,..... ask the airline first just to be safe

  15. Actually, the answer is no,you can't buy a one-way ticket to Jamaica! The Jamaican government does not allow it! I know because I tried, and the customer agent at Air Jamaica told me it is not allowed! You can try,but I was told it was against policy in their country! Anyway,it is more expensive! Just buy a round-trip ticket, and you can always change it(the fee will be $100,but will still come out cheaper than the other way around)! Good luck on your wedding!

  16. The answers that you CAN get a one way ticket MIGHT be correct ( you should check on that to be sure ), but when you arrive in Jamaica & go though customs/immigration, they will want to see a return ticket. As a non resident, your only allowed to stay 180 days...or 6 months....so you must prove to them that your a returning resident or you have a ticket to leave the country on a specific date.

  17. I DID IT. ITS POSSIBLE (SORT OF):

i bought a one way ticket to jamaica from Ft. lauderdale via Air Jamaica. it cost me about $320. It wasn't just expensive, it was downright abusively priced. With planning i could have bought a round trip ticket for that price or less. But i am a Jamaican Citizen.

The airline will generally NOT want to sell you a one-way that ticket. i had to buy it through a travel agent who explained (to air J) that i would be flying into miami on private plane and back on air jamaica. They also explained that i am a jamaican citizen.

    YOUR ANSWER:

its possible, but not cheaper or smarter. To be reserved for times when cheaper isnt the goal (special business etc).

    THE CATCH:

Also remember that immigration (on both the USA and Jamaican side) do not like one-way tickets. If you are a 'non-resident' you don't have an absolute right to enter either country even IF you have a return ticket.

As far as i know, to enter Jamaica (or USA) on a one-way ticket as a visitor would require a special circumstance. Immigrations policy is generally against it.

  18. Yes you can.
