Can a us sirius receiver be activated by sirius canada?

i am getting a sirius radio from the usa and i was womdering if it can be activated by sirius because it was made for the us service

will sirius canada activate it?

If you want the US subscription, you have to have a US address to sign up.

IF you want to listen to stern you have to activate in America but it will work in Canada.
