Can a vaccine shot cause a stuffy nose ?

About 2 or 3 days ago i got a vaccine shots for meningococcal or meningitis i think and a Tdap. Can it cause a stuffy nose ? How long does a stuffy nose last ? I don't have a fever ,sore throat and i don't have allergies. So how could i have gotten a stufffy nose ?

  5. Yes there are various side effects to vaccinations and stuffy nose can be one of them, or you may just have a cold.  

  6. The FDA claims vaccines are only 95% effective. If you use a bit of logic you'll see that means up to 5% of people contract the disease you;re being vaccinated for!

  8. well, a vaccine is when they get you sick with an extremely minor case of that virus, sickness, etc., so im guessing that its just a little side effect from the shot. try using vicks or a humidifier.

  9. yea, they are injecting a little bit of meningitis or whatever shot you got, into you, so your body can fight it off, and sometimes people get a cold, which is probably why you have a stuffy nose

  10. In order for the shot to work, they put a little bit of the sickness in your body so you can fight it off. That's what's happening to you. Your stuffy nose is from the shot and should go away shortly once your body fights it off.
