  1. Vegetarians can, vegans cant.

  2. A vegetarian is simply someone who doesn't eat the meat/flesh of any animal.  So, yes.

Now, if you don't want to eat meat OR animal products, then no because that would make you a vegan.

But you can find dairy-free chocolate.

  3. if milk chocolate that you're seeing as not suitable it will not be because of the milk but something else :) Vegetarians can eat dairy products but vegans can't. Cadbury's milk chocolate is fine if you're looking :)

  4. Vegetarians can eat milk chocolate, it's only vegans that can't.

  5. Vegetarians can eat milk chocolate, but Vegans can't. Vegans eat dark chocolate since it has no milk in it.

  6. Yes you can. Unless you are an ovo vegetarian, one that can eat eggs but not milk, you can still consume prducts with animal derived ingredients, like milk chocolate.

  7. Yes, vegetarians can eat milk chocolate, although there are some that don't. If they are ovo-lacto veg or lacto veg they can. There are some vegetarians that forgo milk products though.

  8. Yes. I'm pretty sure they can. My sister is on and she eats it all the time. It probably depends on how vegetarian you are.

  9. Silly goose! you can eat whatever the h**l you want to. If dairy isn't an issue, and you've checked the ingredients for things you are comfortable eating, then why the h**l not!? it's your body! vegetarianism is an eating lifestyle that shouldn't be about following some set rules "OR ELSE". Yes, there are different kinds of vegetarians, but it's up to you how far you would like to go. It's up to you, dude.

  10. i think a vegetarian can eat chocolate , but a vegan cant

  11. Correct.  If you are okay with drinking milk than you can have milk chocolate.

Vegans only eat the dark chocolate that is made without milk, like some of the Green & Black, D&G, etc...

Always read the label.  If it has Gelatin in it, it is no longer vegetarian since that is cow or pig hoof or hide.

  12. For vegetarians, dairy is NOT off limits, and therefore, milk chocolate would be an acceptable part of a vegetarian diet.

Vegans like myself simply eat dark chocolate that doesn't have dairy. Unfortunately, a lot of companies do still put milk in dark chocolate, but there are a lot of them that also do not. Personally, I get an all natural and organic kind of chocolate, so I don't have to worry about milk with those brands.

  13. Nearly all milk chocolate is vegetarian, as it normally states on the back of the pack.

Some is not as it uses a non-vegetarian whey powder in the chocolate.

Nearly all of cadburys Products are vegetarian.

    All supermarkets do vegetarian chocolate.

    Most Thornton's chocolate is vegetarian.

Some of the mars company chocolates is now vegetarian.

Green and blacks do vegetarian chocolate, and some are vegan to.

You can find vegan chocolate in Holland and Barrett and other good health stores.

    Good luck.

  14. A vegetarian can basically eat anything they want except meat! So as long as an animla wasn't killed in the process go for it. Unless you a vegan like me, we have more resrictions!
