Can a vegetarian wear wool without guilt?

Question

As a vegetarian, I am slightly uncomfortable consuming eggs or milk because these only come from the female of the species, so the male young tend to be culled.

Does the same thing happen with sheep? I assume the wool is just as good from a male as a female, but I would like to be sure!

Wool represents abouy 2% of the revenue from farming lambs.  Without meat the wool would cost many times more so wearing wool is the same as financially benefitting from the meat industry.
