my parnets bought the verizon wifi thhing that plugs into the side of the computer work on a macbook for the internet? just wondering because im buying one

Yes some do work. But you need 10.4 or newer on some, and 10.4.8 on some.

You need too look at each individual adapter, because not all of them work on Macs.
