Can a virus do this..?

I think I mightv gotten a virus. randomly, rap songs just started playing. I have no applications playing music. I dont know where its coming from but its playing on my computer. I cant stop it! How do I know if its a virus? Do you think it is?

under normal circumstances this would be funny. press control alt delete and look at the processes to see if there is something weird running that not supposed to be there.

try to restart in safe mode and scan that way.

it easily could be the only way to know for sure is to use a antivirus to pick it up what anti-virus are you using ?

i recommend avira anti virus but there are many good ones like nod32 ,avast and even comodo firewall has a very good detection rating in there built in scanner here is a link to avira you can use this website to locate the other ones mentioned also
