My colleague got stung by a wasp yesterday and had a bad reaction to it. Now she has an epipen and says it is for an allergic reaction to nuts. Apparently the wasp sting made her allergic to nuts. Is this possible?

  1. no it is impossible.  maybe she never told you about the problem with her nuts

  2. never ,

  3. No. she is obviously also allergic to wasp stings.

  4. No.

She probably saw a Allergist they tested her (whether it is blood, skin or food test) and found out she seriously allergic to nuts. So they gave her a Epi-Pen. But you should ask her.

  5. The events are not related.  The reaction to nuts would have occurred without the wasp sting.
