  1. Yes, and the water would disperse. Might be interesting to see, too.

Yes, but once they move on land they are called tornadoes.  However, many times waterspouts will dissipate when they move inland because their circulation is disrupted by friction with the land.  Typically (but not always) they are much weaker than tornadoes and the land is enough to destroy them.

  4. Yes they sometimes do move onto land and become tornadoes but in this case they USUALLY are not very powerful F0-F2 on the Fujita Scale, although there are always exceptions best of luck to you =)

  5. Yes they can but then they become tornadoes once they reach land they are called tornadoes. Some dissipate once they reach land but they can keep their strength or even strengthen and cause significant damage on land.

  6. Yes;sometimes it can move onto land and may get intensified in which case it will be called tornado thereafter.
