  2. No. There is nothing magnetic about a cd. There's no way a magnet can damage it. Of course you could use the magnet as a tool and grind it all over the cd which would ruin it.

  4. CD's are plastic. Magnets can not affect it at all. Information stored on a CD is burnt into grooves using a laser.

    Hard Drives and Floppy Disks on the other hand will be affected by magnets.

  6. No. There is no iron in a CD, only plastic and aluminum. Magnets have no effect on CDs.
