My reason for asking is that to my knowledge I am 100% Caucasian, but I have had rather robust eye folds all of my life.

Before you ask, no I do not have cri du chat, down syndrome, fetal alcohol syndrome, or any other syndromes, mental deficiencies, or physical abnormalities.

I've been searching the internet for years and I can't find a single speck of information on normal white people with folds. I just want to know why I'm different, and if I should be researching my family's history.

  1. A lot of white babies have epicanthal folds because the bridge of their nose is flat " milk nose" and it makes it easier for them to nurse. As the bridge of the nose develops the epicanthal folds disappear but not all the way in a lot of white people. It is more common in Scandinavian people.

  2. Take a look at singer/songwriter Bjork. She has that appearance and she's Icelandic.

  3. I'm am also white and have the same shape of eyes as you  do, so does my mother.  I do come from mostly Norwegian and Swedish descent

  4. Of course not, that disease was made by some racist guy that decided, hey, lets make this virus only work on people with a certain skin color which is nothing different from anyone else as everyone is the same on the inside.

NO DISEASE IS RACIST. You have an equal chance of getting it as your neighbor does.
