Can a woman be ordered by the judge to get her tubes tied, so that she cannot have anymore children?

Like say if she has like she has six children, by five diffrent fathers and lives off of welfare and child support...

Funny, my cousin's cousin in Ohio has about 8 kids..been in and out of jail and on drugs.  So, obviously she was never ordered...and should have been!

i am not sure what state you are in, but in ohio yes.  if the state is paying not only to birth your children but to take care of them, and you are showing no sense of responsibility,  you can be ordered to have your tubes tied.  i am not sure of the whole process though.

Yes she can in many states,,, The father thing has nothing to do with it though, its the being on welfare. My fiances aunt had I believe seven kids and she was on welfare they made her get her tubes tied after the last one was born.
