If she is 48 hasn't had a period in well over a year and has menopause symptons?

  1. Yes - early menopause symptoms are no guarantee against unexpected pregnancy.

  5. Menopause is the next step in life and is the reality of not being able to have any more babies. So if she has not yet crossed over, she may but the baby could be miscarried or born with several problems like down syndrom. Not a good idea to have unporected s*x til she crosses over completely.

  6. Actually, women who are pre-menopausal are extremely fertile, it happens alot because women believe they cannot get pregnant and in reality it is very likely. Be careful....

  7. Absolutely - a woman can still ovulate when she is going through (or thinks she is going through) menopause. I have a friend who thought she was through menopause and she got pregnant at 49. So - you never know!
