Can a woman love 2 men at once?

Men seem to have the ability (biology??) to have a mistress and still love their wife, or claim to anyway. can a woman love her husband and also fall for another and love them both simultaneously?

no i don't think its possible, when u love someone your heart is with that person,if u would be able to fall for another u aren't really that in love with the husband.anyone who truly loves their spouse would not want to put them through all that pain.

But in real life it is a conscious choice and the person makes a choice to allow herself to fall in love with some one else than your spouse.

I don't personally believe they can - as for me, part of loving someone is being loyal, and having a heart only for them.

I definitely believe that a married woman can become infatuated with someone else though - usually when a specific need is not being met by her husband - emotional in a majority of cases - which is being met by the other person.

I also don't believe that a man who has a mistress truly is still in love with his wife.

if anyone thinks they can love more than one person they are living in denial.  Once you have felt what true love is you know the difference   With love comes respect an how can u respect yourself let alone your partner if you can go behind theyre back?

But most folks agree you have to choose one or the other.  It takes an extraordinary man who can tolerate his wife having intimate relations with another man - and even rarer for both men to be entirely comfortable with it.  Monogamy isn't just a religious mandate, it's an evolutionary mandate as well.

I suppose it's possible for anyone. I have no idea how a man's brain works  but if he's married and in love with both women shouldn't he be either divorced or not having an affair. Because if you truly love someone you should make the choice to stay faithful to them or do them a favor and divorce.

some people aggrivate me, you can't have it both ways. Someone will end up hurting in the end. Most likely the guy since affairs who get together statistically don't last and marriages end up in divorce because of the unfaithful. My guess is the guy would end up screwed....

Just my opinion, but men don't love 2 women at once. What we do is separate love and s*x. We can love our wives, and have s*x with another woman. We may love the s*x, but we rarely love the woman (and I'm speaking pejoratively we; I've never cheated on my wife). Men and women are different, and have different needs. Have you ever seen the King and I? They put it best. The man is a bee and the woman is a flower. The bee is made to go from flower to flower, but the flower never goes from bee to bee.

In other words, no. You can't have 2 men. You can't have your cake and eat it too. If you love them both, with whom did you make a commitment to? Who did you take vows with? What kind of person do you want to be?
