Can a woman rape a man?

Question

Lets say a nice, unsuspecting guy of legal age and s**y body gets snatched away by some chick? (a very pretty chick mind you) and she forcfully cominses sexual vengance upon him without any toys or probes. Then the guy gets pissed off for some reason and tell the police that he was sexually assaulted by some woman. Take note that both of these people are adults. Will the police throw her in jail, or with they just laugh at the guy? I'm not saying I'm planning on raping anyone....I'm just curious...can a chick rape a dude? :)

It's possible. But I've never of it before. The fact that a most men are stronger than some women, she would have have to be stronger that him, or he has to be weaker than her. But I just don't see how can a chick rape a dude. It would probably have to be more difficult. And yeah, they would have to throw her to jail if she did.

Yes she absolutely can.

Whether or not the police officer laughs depends on the person taking the report. It's the same when a woman files a report for sexual assault and worries about whether or not someone will believe her.

EDIT: Rachel - rape depends greatly on your definition of s*x. It is usually defined as penetration, but more broadly could be considered sexual violation. For example, even if a man is not erect a person could insert his p***s into a vaccum cleaner or insert objects into his a**s and it could be considered rape regardless of whether or not they are a man or woman.

Yeah, a girl can rape a dude, and it happens more times than you can imagine.  A lot of guys don't talk about it because either they feel "embarassed" of being a victime of this heinous crime or for any number of reasons, so quite often they don't seek proper attention.

It doesn't even take physical force.  If a woman is in a position of power over a subordinate and uses this power to force him into engaging in coitus or otherwise sexually assaults him, it's rape, but society doesn't seem to care much about this.

It doesn't take muscles or being a "vicious beast" to rape another human being, it's just takes a pathologic, wicked, controlling mind.

Yes!  Below is one such incident.  Men don't report it as much.  Some police will snicker while others will investigate.  I asked this question yesterday  :)

of course! i am sick to death of people assuming that only women can be subjected to rape.

Any sexual intercourse, oral s*x or anal s*x or even when any of these were attempted are rape.

Sexual assault can happen both ways. If it is against a persons will it does not matter if they are woman or man, same thing counts for both genders! I would not really think that a woman would actually be able to rape a man, unless he was drunk or something! Plus, if he then reported it to the police - the chances of them actually taking it seriously are low. I think they would only investigate it with one eye! xx =)

Are you serious.  Someone raped him.  I can sort of understand why he was pissed off.

Would you not be pissed off if some girls or guy did the above to you?

if a man is not aroused he cannot be raped... if he was aroused then the is a blatant liar, if he claims he was raped...

Well the chances of him actually reporting it are low, but the police will probably half heartedly take it seriously and snicker behind his back, knowing in the back of their minds that they would be horrified if they were in his position or knew someone in it.

I am sure it would be hard for the police department to go through the case, but this happens more than you think. Seriously! Assualt is Assualt, period, no matter who it is done to.

Yeah its happened before..and women have been put in jail for it.

Just one thing though...how can they have s*x if hes not enjoying it..I mean he has to be erect for her to have s*x with him..so then she could use that to her defense saying he was enjoying it because he is erect right?

He'll at least put up a fight and the woman will leave

The former has happened to me quite a few times... but the woman usually falsely assumes that men want s*x all the time and she was just "pointing me in the right direction," but I proved her otherwise by giving her a face plant on the floor.

being erect doesn't mean he is enjoying it. Yes a woman can rape a man.

Interestingly enough, although I do know that women are very capable abusers, all the men that I know who have been raped, yes i know around 5, have all been raped by men.

Attractiveness does not play into whether an assault happened, and one of the most traumatic and confusing parts of sexual assault can be the way the body reacts, which the mind does not want it to.
