My son and wife are pretty close to the same hieght can they just share clubs? My son might be a couple of inches shorter than my wife - she is 5'2." This question is assuming that they dont golf at the same time since I am aware that most places want you to have your own set

  1. I don't see why this wouldn't work.  The big issue on golf is the height of the person and whether or not he or she is right or left handed.  Assuming they are both right (or left) handed, I don't see why this wouldn't work.

  2. sure just as long as they dont come no shorter than a couple of inches below her waist.

they just call them youth clubs because of the height.

  3. As long as the clubs fit her. The clubs may not be made of good quality? Don't know for sure though.

  4. if she is just beginning to golf, sure, butif she is athletic, and develops a good swing, she would fair better having clubs fit for her. youth clubs are generally made for a very slow swing speed, whereas women's clubs, while not generally set up for as fast a swing as mens, are still for a swing speed avearage of around 75-80, so if this is something she is going to be serious about, then you should too. also youth clubs are designed for more loft than regular clubs. because youths rarely hit the sweet spot. your best bet is to by a set of used womens' clubs and you can probably find some with a shorter than regular shaft

  5. No problem. When youre just starting its all about having fun.

Might be more fun to get another set, theyre not expensive now and play at the same time.

  6. I assume there are various lengths of youth clubs. If they are within a few inches of a standard set, I am sure they would be fine for a beginner. For a new golfer, there are many things more important than the clubs. So until you reach a higher level that you will probably be more aware of, the clubs are not that important.

  7. Sure, they are easier to take away from a junior too.
