Unlike other sports it does not require physical contact, just physical fitness and mental endurance.

So if my daughter wanted to pursue this career path would there be any law/rules prohibiting her from go-karts to F3,F2 and eventually Formula 1 if she proved her worth?

I know in the States Indy racing has a female driver or two, but the Americans play by different rules.

Is Formula racing truly a mans world?

  1. I seem to remember that there was a woman driver back in the 80's called Davina Galica so I don't think there are any rules against it

  2. If they lack talent because they're female, what's Harbinger's excuse?

  3. Yes we can do it if we wanted to, but it’s always held on the wrong day, so I don't bother, as I’m busy on that day

But we are much better than men, as everyone knows

We drive better, tougher, and stronger of mind everything

  4. yes there was one a few years ago i believe her name was

    davinia something.

  5. If she has the talent, yes. However, you do not see many females in F1 or any of the other premier racing circuits because they simply do not have the talent. Many look at the sport and see no females and automatically assume that there must be laws preventing them from competition but rarely do they ask themselves about the talent required. Talent is the main reason you do not see females in F1 or other racing organizations. It would be like asking if your daughter can compete against Tiger Woods at the British Open, or be a running back in the NFL.

  6. Of course she can. She can do anything she wants if she puts her mind to it. The key ingredient she will need to her sweetness for success will be the backing of her father during her toughest trials. Remember, if you're in her corner regardless of her choice, I'm sure she'll have everything she need to be successful. Don't discourage her based on what other narrow minded Americans may believe. Encourage her, push her, and support her. I look forward to seeing them interview her on ESPN after her victory, with you by her side.
