  1. Adderal is used for attention problems or as an adjunct to the sedating medication taken for depression or the prevention of psychosis, depending upon the patient.

    Ativan is for anxiety.

    It's completely safe to take both.


  2. According to Epocrates, there are no known interactions but your Doctor is the one you should be asking.

  3. Ask your doctor if YOU should take them together, not if it is possible.

  4. No interactions but one is a cns stimulant and the other is a cns depressant. They'd be working against each other in terms of effects. That would be quite strange to be perscribed both.
