Can adult content background to certain user's 360profiles be seen by anyone who logs on?

Children could easily see these as there is no adult content button or warning!

Is this irresponsible?/

I would have to agree it does seem irresponsible of yahoo, maybe you could make a suggestion to them about hiding such content.

Yes backgrounds can be seen its only the blogs that can be restricted to children..

yes , i asked a question today about facebook with the same concern.

i was surprised yahoo singapore would promote facebook.

Hi Plato

There is a setting in the 360 page to identify your page as 'adult'

I'm not sure if that stops anyone seeing your background

Some of them are over the top

OK, just experimented with the settings - only the blog can be hidden as 'mature content'. The background remains visible.

Luckily mine is not offensive :)

Problem is how do you prove a person who wants to view is over 18?  Look at youtube. to set up an account to view material suitable for over 18s no proof of age is asked that cannot be lied about so pretty useless really.

I was asked if I was over 18 when I wanted to view a certain users 360.  I clicked yes, and was then very disappointed that there was nothing adult about it at all
