  1. y not smoke dope whyll ur at it  of course not

  2. No

  3. No.  Generally, social anxiety syndrome would disqualify one as a professional pilot, anyway.  But you would lose your medical if you needed something like that.  Sorry.

  4. Sure, I hate flying as it is, and I did plenty of experimenting, but seeing a pilot dropping a few Seconal probably isn't a good idea.

Of course, this is just my opinion, and I don't mean to cause any malformations of feelings whether for or against popular or unpopular drug cultures or the people bound to make sure aircraft safety is at the forefront of our idealistic views of reliable air transportation.

Of course, I generously, as always, accept thumbs down as much as a wino is thankful for MD 20/20.

    OH THANK YOU!!!

  5. In general, the use of mood-altering medications is disqualifying (in the U.S.).

  6. Avoid self medication

Consult your Doctor and keep off flying

Beside the side effects of the medication the root cause may preclude you from flying

  7. No.

Any drug intended to modify mood or consciousness in any way is totally forbidden. (no antidepressants, sedatives, psychoactive drugs or stimulants stronger than coffee or nicotine.)

if you want the actual reg, say so and I'll look it up and type it in for you.

  8. Any type of mental aberration will probably disqualify you from the left seat. Or from being PIC in general.

Your FAA medical examiner can help you with possible exceptions.
