  1. Lovely question dear.  Man needs no guards.. only needs God.  Was there no guards to Indira Gandhi?. Was there no guards to Rajiv Gandhi?.  Was there no guards to John Kennedy.. the president of America.?  When death comes no one can stop it... except by God himself at rare cases....like Savithri's husband Sathyavan... and few more in mithoogy. If some one can't... circumstances will... Car accident, Air crash & so on. As you said it is just an extra privilege to some as a mark of dignity in the highest posts.

  2. First I would modify the last sentence as : "anybody who is born, must be ready to die" . How does it sound, even though it is an ialienable truth ? Will anybody like it ?

Sub-Text:(1) True and correct. (2) Wrong. There is no such provision in the constitution to this effect. The stipulation is : The State shall not discriminate amongst citizens, on grounds of caste, s*x, religion, region and language. The provision of security is not covered by this constitutional mandate. (3)True (4) True (5) Wrong. Any system of governance has had security perception (6) "best to be discarded"  is an individual opinion. (7) Panchayat member to President are political posts with some remuneration too, but not classified as 'hazardous job' with statutory insurance cover and defined benefit rules.Police and armed forces are classified as such.

Question: No. The security cover is decided in accordance with threat perception and under defined detailed rules under statutory provisions, duly enacted by /tabled before competent legislative bodies, implemented by the Exceutive, reviewed often by delegated authorities and revised/ amended as per extant procedure. In a democracy, the will of the people is what is expressed by the collective wisom of the duly elected representatives of people by a process of decision by majority. If one feels strongly, the remedy lies in mobilising enough support for the idea amongst the legislators/parliamentarians in sufficient strength to carry through the idea by proper procedure.

  3. good way to make your voice heard..get goin..

look its not only politics where people are enjoying extra privileges and security is not the only issue..but then taking an oath to uplift the current circumstances is the only thing that we can do..anyways many things to discuss but hard and not impossible to solve..good luck..
