Can-am spyder?

what motorcycle would be a good comparison, performance-wise, to a can-am spyder? are they about equal to a sport bike? 600 or 1000cc?

The Can Am spyder is 990cc yet it makes about the power of a modern 600cc bike, and it weighs a lot. Semi-automatic transmission? Sounds more like a scooter. So it's pretty much junk...

106 horsepower is ok. For 990cc's it's pathetic though.

77 ft. lb torque-okay I guess

697 pounds dry. I would imagine it's like 720 pounds on the road without the rider on it. That's too heavy for me.

A good comparison to it would be a T-Rex

It's not a motorcycle either...it's a backwards trike.

Different animal altogether, that said, do some research on this machine, it's impressive. I wouldn't mind one parked in my garage.

it'll perform similar to a very large scooter (honda silverwing) or a mid size sport-tourer (ninja 650, 500, versys, etc)
