Can america reinvent itself?

our original impetus was really grand and liberated many other countries-- now we are bloated and proud, and certainly not presenting much besides a lifestyle which by most accounts is unsustainable.

can we use all of the wealth we have to invent a peaceful way of life-- i'm afraid that we will be overrun by indians and chinese scrounging for resources so they can have cars and plasma tvs

America has to or it most likely will not see another century.  But our wealth most likely will not be impetus behind the change.  America's force has been in its resources; our people being the most influential.

you have the true conservatives that want the morale's, values, determination, conviction, pride, and a balance of everything that makes the human spirit flurish and has made our country great....to..

The elitist liberal socialists that are perpetually trying to ruin things for our children, change America to be something different, something perverse, something based on a totally different premis, The ultimate welfare utopia of the world.

We didn't become America by wimping out on decisions, We didn't become America by kickin the problem down the road to our children. We didn't become America by taking short cuts, obsessing over stupid politics, running rough-shod over people's rights, letting pollitical extremist..whacho's..peace-nicks or idiots determining our policies. We didn't even get to where we are by listening to what the world or other countries wanted us to do and incorporating them...Because we are America...we don't do everything right...but we do it better than most out there.

Our hearts use to be in the right place....Our resolve use to be strong and decisive. The whiners and Complainers in America have grown in population and have infiltrated every sector of our lives. The throw back hippie wannabe's with their marxist, liberal, socialist views have been tainting our childrens minds and effecting politics.

The last presidents I fully respect is JFK and Reagan.

Yes I believe America will re-evaluate and re-invent itself. It always take a fall for people to realise their mistakes.
