Can an 11 Year Old sit in the front seat of a car??

  1. There's no law against it but if your car has air bags then your child could be injured in a crash. If an 11 year old has to sit in the front seat make sure they have both the lap AND shoulder straps on properly and put the seat back as far as possible.

  2. I've rode in the front seat since I was out of car seats. I never went in one of them stupid "booster seats," or rode in the back if nobody was in the front. And I'm 14.

  3. Yes, as long as the kid is over I think it is 80 pounds or 90 pounds, and is more than 4 ft. 11 in. then he can sit anywhere without a booster seat.

    when i was 11, i was 4'7 and 65 pounds lol

    so unless you're a chubby giraffe 11 year old, then the answer to your question is..no.
