Can an 11-year-old buy surgical tubing for a slingshot?

or will they know that I'm using it for a slingshot? and where can I buy surgical tubing... if I'm allowed :)

If I'm not allowed, what can I use so that my soon-to-be slingshot will have accuracy, power, and speed. and don't ask why I asked this... i don't know why! oh and please tell the truth Thank You!!!

you can buy surgical tubing from home depot, k-mart, and other hardware stores, but you have to be with a grown up, they won't sell it to by yourself because your to young to have it
