Can an Amazon.com gift card be used without a credit card?

I'm a minor so I don't have a credit card and can't get one. Am I still able to purchase stuff from Amazon.com if I use a gift card that should cover the entire purchase and shipping?

I also have another related question: Can I buy stuff from other merchants on Amazon with an Amazon gift card?

Your Amazon gift card is like cash.  You can order merchandise up to the amount of the gift card.  You don't need a credit card to do that.  You should check with the other merchants on Amazon to see if they will honor the Amazon gift cards.
