They are Canadian citizens.

Can anyone tell me how long it would take?

Would it be faster if my husband (a Greencard holder) were to sponsor them?

How about if I sponsor my mother-in-law as a nanny?

Can their 14 year old daughter come along and attend school here?

  1. Your husband can do it but his application will lie in a black hole until he becomes a citizen, after that it could take a few years. His sister will have finished her education by the time she gets here. Go to http://www.visajourney.com and look in the forums, one in particular, Bringing Family Members to the USA (or something like that)

  2. No.  Your husband, when he becomes a US citizen, can do it.

  3. You have to make a certain amount of money to sponsor them.Yeah you might be able to bring her in as an Au pair I just don't know the rules with that.
