I stayed with a family in Spain last year and my host sisters birthday is coming up. I am planning on sending her a package with gifts and wanted to include a slideshow that I burned onto a DVD+R disc. Would she be able to use it in her DVD player or maybe even her computer? Thank you

  1. Yeah, I think so. If is was an original DVD probably it wouldn't work, but a DVD+R surely will work, but I think that when you burn it you should see if there is an option to select a region or burn the DVD without region, but I'm not really sure of that.

  2. I'm not sure about her computer, but I know she won't be able to view it on a regular DVD player. They're made for certain regions; I have a cousin in Italy, and in order to view DVDs that he sends us we had to purchase one that was compatible.

  3. Well it depends, they wok on some DVD players but not others, most work in Australia.
