Can an American become a wedding planer in Italy?

Is that even possible? Could that be disrespectfull to italians? And would i need to go to school if i was going to open up my own business? Please help me [=

  1. I think they would prefer an Italian just for the reason as they would know the customs and it would be easier to organize events knowing all hidden local resources available etc

    But maybe you could for a year or so work with an establish wedding planner there get the ins and out and then go out on your own !


  2. It would probably be possible. However, there might be a lot of rules and regulations, as well as unwritten rules that you should know about prior to establishing business in Italy.
