  1. I can and I'm American.  It's a mind set.

I already have my death notice and I am not afraid of anyone.

Not saying I have no fear, but I have never let it control me.

I would figure the common Pal citizen to be simple working people that don't spout the hate until Hamas makes them.  Too busy staying alive themselves.

Avoid politicians and their dogs and you may make new friends.

    I would certainly avoid preaching..

  2. The only thing you should fear is getting shot by an Isreali solider.

And by the way, teher is no arab side of israel, there is Palestine!!

  3. I don't think so

  4. Well, other then getting beheaded or be converted to Islam under a gunpoint, you have nothing to worry about.

  5. Israeli Arab towns and villages are safe as any other city in Israel.

    Anyone can visit.

Some are nice some are rather primitive.

  6. There are many Americans and other nationalities working for Aid Agencies and NGO's. Parts of the West Bank are under the PA (Palestinian Authority). Bethlehem for example is under the Palestinian Authority, many from the West go there each year for Christmas. Palestinians have had much contact with Westerner's, you will be just fine be sure. Cheers!

  7. dear....

most of the American that I meet & I tell them how much of a great experience to visit the Middle East, they say this: No, its not safe.... we may got killed.

which I don't beleive it but this is the American mintality..

    Add:

I met Americans in Iraq, Kuwait & Qatar....

When they traveled to the Middle East, they changed their idea about the Arab world.... I agree with you that some Arab countries will not welcome Americans, but not all of them.

I have friends in Kuwait that still living their for over 7 Years.

Making good money & live in Peace....

I met Americans in Jordan & Egypt, they have no complain at all....

the funny thing that I faced once: they told me we love American but we hate your president..... then I smiled & I didn't know what to say...

  8. Jaffa is safe.. but I never FELT safe there...my ex- girlfriend (ten years ago mind) was spat on by an Arab guy who called her a 'Jewish b....h'  even though she was from South Africa. Also, outside the hostel there were Arabs who would let off fire crackers on old people. real messed up. From a totally spiritual point of view (although I was not a Christian at the time) Islam is wicked and caution is to be adhered by all who do not follow its teachings where Islam has a foothold and a bit of  power.

  9. In my experience, as long as you treat people with respect, you have nothing to fear.

Most Arabs are warm and hospitable; if you treat them with respect they will reciprocate, and go out of their way to speak with you, feed you, entertain you, etc.

There are places such as Jaffa and Haifa which have significant Arab populations and where Arabs and Jews live side by side quite nicely.

  10. Yes, you can visit Palestinian territories, if you can survive passing Israeli check points and separation walls.

Do not carry a camera. Many Americans carrying cameras were killed as Israelis thought them carrying guns.

Stay away from Israeli bulldozers or they will run over you.

Palestinian territories are the largest open air prison in the world.

Israelis monitor every breath. Americans visiting there are enemies of the Jewish state.

Other from that, it is safe

  11. Arabs live all over Israel, there isnt really any "arab side"

Just females should avoid Arab men because they are real pushy about hooking up.

  12. I'm not sure if you mean the Arab quarter in Jerusalem, and Arab neighborhoods in other cities, or if you mean Gaza and the West Bank.

Private vehicles are not allowed to enter Gaza. Journalists wishing to enter Gaza from Israel must get special permits from the Israeli government. If you have family, you may also apply for a permit.

They are not fond of Americans. If you are an American of Middle Eastern descent, you may be called a traitor (or worse .)

  13. I can only answer your first two questions. Some Americans could without being scared, other Americans fear anything different especially Arabs right now. I would actually like to go to see Gaza,West Bank and Israel.

added. Check the link below for travel requirements of Americans To Israel,West Bank and Gaza.

  14. There is not exactly an Arab Side.  There are Arab towns in Israel.

Those Arab towns in Israel proper, like Nazareth and Shfaram, are perfectly safe to visit.  Their residents are tax-paying Israeli citizens.

However, in Judea, Samaria and Gaza, including cities like Jenin, Ramallah and Khan Yunis, rule is by terrorism -- Hamas, Fatah, Islamic Jihad, Palestinian Authority and such -- and it is very dangerous for anyone who is not an Arab (and also for Christian Arabs) to visit.

I hope you enjoy your stay.

    .

  15. I'm arab, I wouldnt go to Gaza. lol.

Unless I had a few guns. and maybe a huge steel hamster ball that bullets cant penetrate that i could roll around in.
